NOTE: I fixed the download link. Apologies to the two people who downloaded it beforehand.
Once upon a time there was a man named Spencer Nilsen. He composed ambient and atmospheric music for a SEGA game called Ecco the Dolphin. SEGA liked his stuff, and asked him to create a special soundtrack for the North American release of a game called "Sonic CD".
Some people liked the result. Others preferred the game's original Japanese soundtrack, which was also included in the game's European release. To this day, people who have played the game will debate over which soundtrack is better.
In 1993, SEGA rewarded people who pre-ordered their Sonic 3 game by giving them an album that contained extended mixes of Sonic CD's NA soundtrack. The album was titled "Sonic Boom", after the NA soundtrack's main theme. Despite the album's extremely limited release, you can listen to its contents online today thanks to so many people ripping its MP3s to their computers and uploading them to the internet.
The Collision Chaos track on the album contains an extended mix for the zone's Present and Bad Future. I wasn't satisfied with this, so I added the Good Future to the mix as well before looping it into a BRSTM. The resulting track is five-and-a-half minutes of electric guitar goodness.
Here's a preview of the Good Future track I added:
